Kim is a strategic and passionate adviser with over 25 years of experience providing ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families with tax, philanthropic, business succession, and wealth planning advice. She loves to share her experience by working with clients’ other advisers to guide clients through all aspects of planning, including identifying and analyzing needs and legacy goals, anticipating future issues, and providing strategies to promote family harmony. Before moving to provide more holistic legacy and wealth planning advice in June 2020, Kim was a partner in Gadsden Schneider & Woodward LLP, a boutique estate planning law firm in Wayne, Pennsylvania, where she had worked for almost a decade.
Originally from South Africa, Kim grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and strongly believes in giving back. She sits on the board of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, and she serves as Vice-Chair of the Emotional and Psychological Issues in Estate Planning Committee of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. Kim also serves on her local election board and on the board of Congregation Beth Am Israel. In addition, she and her family have volunteered for Jewish Relief Agency’s Food Distribution Program for many years, delivering food to a diverse group of individuals in need.
Kim received her J.D., cum laude, and her LL.M. in Taxation, both from New York University School of Law, and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Kim lives in Wynnewood with her husband and teenage daughter (along with their two dogs and a cat).
