Veritable combines with Pathstone to create a best-in-class advisor to UHNW families Read
David is Veritable’s Chief Investment Officer and a member of the Executive Committee and the Operating Committee. As the Chair of its Investment Committee, he sits at the intersection of the firm’s client-facing, research, operating and portfolio management teams. If you like deep analytical thinkers, you will love David. He graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Economics and a concentration in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management and Technology program. The ‘M & T’ program is a joint curriculum of the Wharton School and the School of Applied Engineering and is considered among the most demanding undergraduate courses of study among U.S. universities.
Prior to joining Veritable in 1995, David was an institutional investment consultant with A. Foster Higgins and the Wyatt Company where he earned the CFA® charterholder designation. Over the past two decades he has been a patient intellectual mentor to everyone at Veritable and a tremendous asset to its clients. David can be found at the end of almost every work day driving the levers of an elliptical machine in the office gym while reading some academic investment article or a client Investment Policy. He has a refrigerator in his office which has always been a good place to forage for food during the work day. He and his wife Lynnette have two young daughters who, unlike David, can dance.
