Darren joined Veritable in 1999. He is an Investment Team Leader with deep experience and a strong background in finance. He has a broad point of view informed by a life path that began in Southern California and led to Philadelphia. To that end, he and his team cover a national client base located in the West Coast, the Midwest, Northeast and Florida. Having worked in a family office setting since 1994, he is well suited to tackle a range of issues from analyzing the cost-benefits of new investment concepts to optimizing the structure of charitable giving plans. He is a member of Veritable’s Investment Committee and leads a Portfolio Management team of four talented professionals. He received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Before graduate school, Darren managed a family investment office and a closely held business in Los Angeles, CA. He earned his CPA working for four years in public and corporate auditing in the Southern California offices of Arthur Andersen and SunAmerica. He has a BA in Business Economics from the University of California and is a board member of the Baldwin School of Bryn Mawr, PA where he serves on the finance committee. He and his wife Becky have two daughters; and for the record Darren remains a lifelong Dodger fan.
